Course Overview

The Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is a set of stages that software undergoes to ensure that it meets quality standards. The STLC typically includes planning, test case development, test execution, defect reporting, and test closure. By following this cycle, software developers can detect and fix issues in the software before it is released to the end-users.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  1. To ensure that the software product meets the specified quality standards and requirements.
  2. To identify defects or bugs in the software early in the development process, thereby reducing the cost of fixing them.
  3. To increase the reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness of the software product by improving its performance and functionality through continuous testing and feedback.

Pre-requisite

  1. Detailed understanding of the software requirements and design specifications.
  2. Availability of a well-defined testing strategy and plan that includes test objectives, timelines, and resources.
  3. Availability of a well-defined defect reporting and tracking process that allows for timely identification, reporting, and resolution of defects.
