Course Overview

Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) is a new certification from Red Hat, along with the release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL 6). RHCSA shall now be the universal entry point into the Red Hat certification programs. In RHEL 6, RHCSA replaces Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT).

At the end of the training, participants will be able to:

Attendees need to have full-time Linux administration experience and should also know establishing network connectivity using DHCP; administering local user and group accounts; managing local, physical storage; and installing Linux graphically on a bare-metal system.

  • Pass parameters to the kernel and manage kernel modules
  • Create kickstart configurations and use them to install Linux
  • Deploy and manage KVM virtual machines
  • Apply a systematic approach to diagnosing and correcting system failures
  • Access Red Hat documentation and services
